Hi, my name is Pumpkin! I’m a 3 year old buff and white Cocker Spaniel. I came to CNR when my family could no longer take care of me. I’m not sure why, because I am incredibly sweet and very easy going! When I want your attention, I make sure to rub up against you or nudge your hand so my head fits right under it and voila! you are petting me and I am wiggling all over!! I love to snuggle with my foster mom and being near her is my favorite thing to do. Although, I do enjoy running around her fenced in backyard playing through the fence with the dog next door. I enjoy her granddaughters, too and would love a family with kids who know how to treat and respect a doggie like me.
As you can see, my fur is pretty short. Well, we cockers need to be groomed on a regular basis and unfortunately I wasn’t, so now I’m waiting until my beautiful fur grows back.
I am spayed and housebroken, but I would need my new family to help me learn where to go outside because with all the changes lately, it may take me a few days practice to remember. I have a vet appointment Monday and will soon be up to date on my vaccines, and heartworm tested. If you think I am the right dog for your family, please fill out an application on our website.
