Meet Penny! She is a 5ish year old cocker spaniel looking for a family to give her the attention she deserves.  Penny likes long walks, car rides and meeting new people. She loves to be with people, snuggling on the sofa or in your bed.  She will follow you around the house to see what you are doing.  She does like a crate to hide toys and treats in for later or to sleep in when no one can cuddle.  Penny is excellent with cats, and will warm up to other dogs after a proper introduction.  She does prefer smaller dogs over bigger ones and prefers male dogs over female. She does prefer calmer homes to busy homes.   

Penny likes to be silly, and will try to get your attention to make you laugh with her head tilting to conversations.  She will even steal the slippers off your feet!  Her preferred toys are plastic water bottles or paper so watch out for a little thief.  She is learning to play with other dog approved toys.  She does like to wear sweaters or coats, and does like to be brushed.  Penny wears a low style harness for walks so she doesn’t cough.  She is housebroken and will give cues to the door to go out.  She does enjoy long walks and rarely gets tired.  Basically she is game for just about anything as long as she is spending time with her people.  She is up to date on all her vaccinations, spayed, had a pro heart injection and on simpirica.
