Hello everyone my name is sugar. I am a 2.5 years old cocker spaniel. I have traveled a couple different states in my two years. I was born in Illinois and lived in Indiana before I came to the great rescue of CNR in Michigan. My foster family says I’m a good boy but very scared.  Once I get to know you and realize that you aren't going to harm me, I come out of my shell and will really open up. My foster dad says I’m his little shadow. I am a pretty laid back doggie. I prefer laying on the floor on a mat or blanket. Don’t care for couches or the bed unless there is a storm outside then I will cuddle with you to make sure you are safe. I’m really good on a leash but my family says I’m a little nervous. With more walks I’m sure I’ll love it. I’m good with my two foster sister doggies. There are also two cats I live with here that I don’t have an issue with but one isn’t very nice to me not sure why though. I was never taught that sharing is caring so I have some resource guarding issues so it would be best that i can be in a home without a crate because that is where my biggest issue lies. I might growl if i have a toy but with some work my foster parents think i can over come this.  However, i don't guard my food or water. I even can share a bowl of water at the same time with my foster sisters. I am house broken having no issues going in the house. If interested please feel an application out and my fosters will find the perfect home for me.
