Ginger is a wonderful little girl from Indianapolis who is very loving and wants to be the center of attention. Even if it is only a three hour tour! She is a real wigglebutt. Ginger very much likes to steal toys from other dogs sometimes right out of their mouths, if the other dog lets them. If the other dog is not wililng, a small skirmish may ensue and so a tendful eye is needed until Ginger learns the proper ettiquette of playing with other dogs. We have been working on this issue with some success.
Ginger is somewhat insecure of strangers on a first time meeting. It takes a few mintues for Ginger to warm up to people as we are finding out. Although, she is more comfortable meeting new people if our other dogs are in the house with her at the time of greeting. She appears to be a little insecure in this regard and needs continuious socialization with correction from her new family to obtain the confidence that other dogs her age have.
We believe that with a few months of socialization Ginger's confidence level should improve and Ginger will make a wonderful pet.
