Blanco is a sweet 3 year old red & white boy.  He came to us from a shelter.  He was so very afraid in the shelter that he would bark and snap at the staff.  They were going to euthanize him because they knew they couldn't adopt him out.  Thankfully they contacted Cocker Nation first.  I pulled him from the shelter and he is a great boy.  Blanco has made amazing progress and he totally trusts his foster family and has not shown any fear (snapping) in a long time.  Blanco is a field-coated Cocker so he will not need as much grooming.  He is up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative.

Blanco is skittish of new people, but is getting better every day.  Blanco is going to need a patient owner that understands his fear of new people and is willing to work with & socialize him.  He is a very loving and affectionate boy once he trusts you.  He LOVES balls and playing fetch.  Balls are his security and make him feel safe.  He also likes noisy toys.  Blanco is a well mannered boy and knows basic commands.  He is house and crate trained even though he really doesn’t like the crate much.  Blanco does well in the car and does pretty well on a leash.  Blanco would do best in a quiet home without young children.  If you are interested in Blanco, please complete an application or contact his foster mom at mendej30@yahoo.com.
