Whisper is a twelve year old cocker spaniel looking for a quiet loving home. He is gentle-natured and friendly, but can still be a bit skittish. He doesn't like loud noises. He likes to be on the couch next to you and also loves to sleep in bed with you. He is doing well on his house breaking skills and needs some patience with that. He is on medication that has helped him tremendously. He absolutely loves to go for walks and has a lot of energy for a senior dog when walking, and loves to be outside running around in the yard visiting with the neighbors dogs. He doesn't care to be crated, and may bark for just a bit after you leave when he is crated. He might enjoy a dog house as he likes to hide in our bedroom and sleep the day away. Although he has come a long way, his old 'fears' sometimes seem to arise and he seems to be anxious. He does well with a crowd at our house, yet sometimes when here with just Mom and Dad, seems to revert to a scared little boy. He needs lots of love and patience...but is a very sweet dog!!
